MenVisagism Privacy Policy

MenVisagism (“the app”) is published by Felipe Cuellar (El Progreso Diario), Colombia (“we”). This policy explains what data the app uses and why. Contact: soporte@elprogresodiario.com.
Summary
- Your photos are analyzed on your device and are never uploaded or stored.
- The app has no accounts, no ads and no advertising tracking.
- Your face shape and style answers are saved only on your device. You can delete them at any time.
- Payments are processed by Google Play. We never receive your payment details.
Photos
When you take a selfie or choose a photo, the app analyzes it on your device with Google ML Kit to find the outline of the face and measure its proportions. The photo is kept in memory only while the analysis screen is open. Photos taken with the camera are written to a temporary file that is deleted right after the analysis. Photos are never sent to us or to anyone else, and the app doesn’t create or store biometric identifiers.
Data stored on your device
The app saves the following on your device so it can show your style guide:
- your face shape (detected or chosen by you) and, if measured, the ratio between your facial thirds;
- your style profile answers (image you want to project, hair texture, hairline, beard growth).
This data never leaves your device. It is excluded from Android backups and device transfers. You can delete it with About → Delete my data, or by uninstalling the app.
Data collected by Google ML Kit
The face detection library sends Google anonymous diagnostics and usage metrics: device model, Android version, app version, performance (such as processing time), configuration and error codes, and a per-installation identifier that doesn’t identify you or your device. This data contains no images, is encrypted in transit and is used by Google to maintain and improve ML Kit. See Google’s ML Kit data disclosure.
Purchases
MenVisagism Premium is a subscription sold through Google Play. Google processes the payment under the Google Privacy Policy. The app only receives confirmation of whether your subscription is active. We don’t receive your name, email address or payment details.
Children
The app is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18.
Your rights
Because we don’t collect personal data on our servers, there is no data we hold about you to access, correct or delete. All local data can be deleted from the app. If you have questions, write to soporte@elprogresodiario.com.
Changes
We will update this page when the app’s data practices change and show the date of the last update.
